Personal data

Privacy policy

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics tool. So there is no banner to click and nothing to refuse. Here is the full detail all the same, including the videos and what happens on third-party sites.

What this site does not do

  • forcevital.eu sets no cookies of any kind: not technical, not advertising, not for measurement.
  • No analytics tool is installed. Not Google Analytics, nor anything like it.
  • No advertising pixel, no social media button, no font loaded from a third-party server. The site’s font is hosted on the site itself.
  • No video is loaded until you click on it. The detail is further down.
  • No profiling, no automated decision-making, no sale or sharing of data.
  • No account to create. The only sign-up is the optional newsletter described further down.

That is why no consent banner appears: there is nothing to consent to. You can check this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools and look at the Storage tab: at most you will find one local storage entry, and only if you signed up for the newsletter.

Who is responsible for your data

The publisher of the site, whose full identity and postal address appear in the legal notice. Contact through the form.

The contact form

The form is the only place where you choose to send data. It collects your name or nickname, your email address and the content of your message.

  • Purpose: to reply to you, and nothing else.
  • Legal basis: your request, within the meaning of Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
  • Recipient: the publisher of the site only.
  • Technical processor: the form is relayed by the FormSubmit service, which forwards its content to the publisher’s mailbox. No account is created, and these messages go into no database.
  • Retention: the message stays in the mailbox for as long as it takes to handle it, then is deleted no later than twelve months after the last exchange.

The newsletter

The newsletter is optional. A window offers it during your visit, and the “Get the free newsletter” link in the footer opens it on request. You only receive it if you enter your address and submit it.

  • Data: your email address, the newsletter language, the page you signed up from, and the date, country and IP address of the connection at the time of sign-up.
  • Purpose: to send you the newsletter once a week: discount codes and deals, current promotions, new supplements, research summaries. It features commercial offers, on which this site may earn a commission. The date, page and IP address serve as proof of your consent.
  • Legal basis: your consent, within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every issue, or through the contact form.
  • Processors: the sign-up is stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare in the European Union. The newsletter is sent by Brevo, a company established in France, which records email opens and clicks on their links.
  • Retention: your address is used until you unsubscribe. The record of your sign-up is kept for up to three years after that, as proof of consent, then deleted.
  • In your browser: once you have signed up, the site stores a marker in your browser’s local storage, which is not a cookie, so that it stops offering you the newsletter. It is never transmitted.

The videos

Some pages show a video hosted by YouTube. Until you click the play button, nothing is requested from YouTube or Google: the image you see is a plain picture served by forcevital.eu, and the player does not exist on the page yet.

If you click to start playback, the player is then loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, the domain YouTube offers without advertising cookies. From that moment Google receives your IP address, some information about your browser and the fact that you watched that video, and may use local storage tied to playback. That processing falls under Google’s privacy policy, which we do not control.

Loading on click is a choice, not a technical constraint: it makes watching the video a deliberate action on your part, which is also why no consent banner is needed to see it.

When you leave the site for a seller’s page

The buttons that lead to a sales page go through an internal address of the site, of the form /en/go/, which redirects to the seller’s site. This redirect sets no cookie on our side and sends us no information about you.

The destination site, however, applies its own processing once you are there: cookies, IP address, order data. That is the seller’s responsibility, under the seller’s own privacy policy, which we do not control. On our side we only see aggregate, anonymous statistics, never the identity of a visitor or a buyer.

The host’s technical logs

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any host, Cloudflare processes the technical data needed to deliver pages and keep the service secure, including the IP address of the connection. Those logs are the host’s own processing. The publisher does not access them and draws no analysis from them.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of data about you, and the right to data portability. In practice they concern the messages you sent through the form and, if you signed up, your newsletter subscription. To unsubscribe, the link at the bottom of every issue is enough.

To use them, write through the contact form. You will get a reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. The publisher is established in France, where that authority is the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.

Transfers outside the European Union

The host and the service that relays the form are companies established in the United States. Any transfers take place under the safeguards of Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular standard contractual clauses and the adequacy mechanisms that apply to these providers. Newsletter sign-ups are stored in the European Union, and Brevo is a French company.
